Belval Plaza Shopping Centre comprises 36,000 m² of commercial space, including major international retailers and local shops. Built upon industrial wasteland.
The site was fully converted and has been in a constant state of reurbanisation for several years while respecting its history and legacy by preserving the blast furnaces that have witnessed Luxembourg’s Forges du Sud heritage.
This shopping centre, managed by the company Devimo (35 shopping centres in Belgium), offers an attractive range of activities:
- Retail (around 40 shops)
- Dining (seven restaurants)
- Leisure and culture (one concert venue, one cinema with seven auditoriums)
- Health and well-being (one fitness room)
All of these activities generate a constant and sustained flow of customers, notably during events and concerts, which is why the managers of Belval Plaza Shopping Centre have called upon the knowledge and expertise of Indigo, which was most able to adapt to the constraints and needs of this 1,600-space car park.
The establishment of a new university atthis site further increases the number of visitors to the shopping centre, generating a steadyflow of traffic.
To best meet these constraints, Indigo manages the car park from 7.00 am to 1.00 am with an attendant available at all times at the Information Desk, located inside the shopping centre and phone support from 1.00 am to 7.00 am as well as when the attendant is on break during the day.
