With 606 km of cycling facilities and 306 km of riding network dedicated to two-wheeled vehicles, Toulouse Métropole is one of the most active cities in France in promoting soft mobility. In this context, INDIGO Weel’s multimodal offer of self-service bikes and scooters complements the local public transportation network, while integrating with existing cycling infrastructures and services. In addition to the central city served by this innovative offer, more than 11 virtual stations have been inaugurated in the municipalities surrounding Toulouse. This was done to create mobility relays where they were most needed.

The service was launched in close collaboration with Toulouse Métropole and the City of Toulouse on March 18, 2018 and has over 700 electric bikes and scooters. The vehicles are maintained and regulated by a dedicated local team.
